Brief of Tasks - Talcher Colliery Underground Coal Mine is a very old mine started way back in 1928 by Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway (MSM Railway). However, after running for 95 years, the mine operation was discontinued by Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) in 2018. TMC Mineral Resources Private Limited has taken up the challenge for reopening, salvaging, rehabilitation, development and operation of this discontinued underground coal mine producing coal of 0.36 MTPA. The reopening of Talcher Underground coal mine would be a crucial milestone in revitalizing coal production. This public-private partnership (PPP) between Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) and TMC Mineral Resources Private Limited, under a Revenue Sharing Model, promises to create a win-win situation, bolstering economic growth while ensuring sustainable mining practices for a better and greener tomorrow.

Capacity of the Mines is to produce 1.2 MTPA Coal with over all stripping ration of 2.80 (M3/tn).

Contract Agreement - 30 Yrs
Brief of Tasks - TMC Group won the two commercial iron ore blocks (Lohattar and Tendubhata) under Prospecting cum Mining lease scheme (Composite License) under the mineral auction rule. The initial mining lease period will be for 30 years.
Tendubhata block (113.625 hectares) is situated in khairagarh district having high-grade iron ore deposit.
Lohattar iron ore block (40 hectares) is situated in kanker district having hematite ore.

Brief of Tasks - The company is engaged in opencast mining operation under MDO contract in Iron ore deposit located at Kanker district of Chhatisgarh with an guaranteed quality(+65%Fe) ore delivery. It includes Mine Planning, Excavation, Drilling, Blasting, Dump Management, Screening, Crushing and Loading the finished goods in to dispatch trucks. Present capacity 2.4 MTPA is going to enhance 5 MTPA. Excavation of waste is 72 Lacs MT / per annum and finished ore is 40 Lacs MT/per annum from this Mine.

Brief of Tasks - TMC is engaged for providing Pre-Mining services right from Mining lease, Land acquisition to opening of the mines including Land Acquisitions, Forest clearance, DGPS survey, Scientific studies, posting of pillars & all other statutory clearances, Site office setup, Tree enumeration & cutting, Power Line and Substation Setup, Explosive License and Magazine Construction, obtaining final order for possessions etc.
Working as MDO of Opencast Mine
Brief of Tasks -To ensure the Deployment of HEMM for removal of waste materials from the mine, arrangement of power, illumination, explosives, water, dewatering drilling & blasting, transportation of overburden from operation face to dumping place, dump yard management etc by complying all the statutory norms along with local Liasoining.
