Development of Mining Infrastructure

Mine construction services are specialized activities related to both surface and underground mines. The company’s mine construction work includes are:

Drivages of inclines Including Covering Open Mouth by RCC Box

Civil Infrastructure

TMC is offering bundle of related services in both Underground and Opencast mines, which includes:

Development of GA and detail Drawings.
Construction of Various Civil buildings related to mines like Outdoor Switch Yard, 33 KV substation, Cap lamp room, rest shelter, canteen,
Hostels separate for Executives/Engineers and other Staffs, Guest houses, roads, CHP.
Construction and management of administrative office, VTC, weigh bridges, Mines Rescue room, dispensary, Store, central workshop, QC lab, roads and Culverts, haulage rooms, security post, settling ponds, pump house, large area parkings etc.

Underground Mine Operation

The Underground Mine Operation includes

Development of dip drivage & Preparation of development Panels.
Design, engineering, Erection, testing and commissioning and operation of equipment required for mining operations like: surface substations up to 33KV, DG sets, haulages, cap lamps, MMVF, workshop equipment, underground substations, road header, LHD, SDL machines, UDM, Compressors, power pack, hydraulic roof bolting machines, dewatering pumps, face pumps, UG conveyors etc.
Construction of Air Crossings, Ventilation and Isolation stopping.
Strata Monitoring & Anchorage testing
Preparation of depillaring panels which includes dressing, additional support, cutting drains, preparation of sumps, laying stowing ranges and dewatering pipe lines, installation of pumps.
Production of coal from depillaring panels by stowing method
Production of Minerals by drilling & blasting method.
Production of Coal by blasting free (cutting) technology by deploying continuous miner / breaker.
Implementation of safety and awareness programs time to time for safe workings in UG mines etc

Opencast Mine Operation

Excavation using HEMM (technologically advanced), loading and transportation of the excavated earth, stores/hard strata / coal etc to the earmarked dumping sites
Drilling & blasting ensuring all the safety measures.
Leveling and dressing of the dumping sites
Construction and maintenance of Haul roads including water sprinkling for suppression of dust.
Dump Yard management
Dewatering by face pumps and implementation of adequate drainage system.
Construction and maintenance of pump house for pumping of water to the Mine Site for supply of water in Mines and allied infrastructure
Training on development of occupational safety and health aspects in opencast mines.
Production of Minerals by drilling & blasting method.
Fixing and pasting of banners containing safety slogans in the key locations etc.

Incline Drivage & Shaft Sinking

Mine shaft sinking is one of the most critical and technically difficult aspects of underground mine development and construction. A mine shaft must be completed and commissioned for an ore body before any other underground mine development can begin. TMC has the experience, skilled workers and the specialized techniques (without blasting) and equipment necessary to complete technically challenging projects - such as those involving poor ground conditions or extreme depth - on time and on budget.
